Ambition24hours (operating as part of the A24 Group) is a healthcare staffing agency founded in 1996. We place travel nurses and allied health professionals with healthcare facilities across the United States. We also operate in the United Kingdom, Australia, and South Africa.

Job applicants and candidates
Placed clinicians and healthcare professionals
Healthcare facility clients and their HR teams

This policy does not cover data we process on behalf of our facility clients as a service provider. Those practices are governed by separate agreements with each client.

2. The Data We Collect
2a. Identifiers
Name, personal and work email address, phone number, postal address, IP address, date of birth, Social Security number (SSN), driver's license number, passport number, employee ID, and account credentials.
2b. Professional and Employment Information
Employment history, education records, professional licenses and certifications, credential verification results, background check results, drug screening results, work authorization or visa status, workplace accommodations, and emergency contact information.
2c. Sensitive Personal Information
The following categories are treated as sensitive and subject to additional protections:
Financial data: Bank account details and payment card information, collected for payroll and invoicing purposes only
Health and medical information: Collected strictly for credentialing, placement suitability, and compliance with healthcare facility requirements
Government-issued identifiers: SSN, passport, and driver's license numbers, collected for identity verification and legal compliance
We collect sensitive personal information only when required, and we limit its use to the specific purpose for which it was collected.
2d. Protected Classification Characteristics
Age, gender, marital status, ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, and citizenship, where disclosed voluntarily or required by law.
2e. Internet and Device Activity
Browser type, operating system, IP address, pages visited, access times, session duration, and device identifiers, collected when you use our website or apps.
2f. Geolocation Data
Approximate or precise location data collected through our website or app to support job matching and localized service delivery.
2g. Inferences
Profiles derived from the above data to assess candidate suitability for specific roles or facilities.
3. How We Collect Your Data
Directly from you: When you apply for a job, register on our site, submit a form, communicate with us by phone or email, or provide information during onboarding and placement.
From third parties: Employment history and credential data from verification providers, background check agencies, licensing boards, social media platforms (where you have made information public), and referrals from clients or colleagues.
Passively: Website usage data collected automatically via cookies, tags, and analytics tools when you visit our site.
4. Why We Use Your Data
We use your data only for the following purposes:
Recruitment and placement: To match you with suitable travel nursing or allied health assignments, verify your credentials, and manage the full placement lifecycle from application to onboarding.
Employment and payroll administration: To process pay, manage benefits, arrange travel and housing, track performance, and meet record-keeping obligations.
Client services: To present suitable candidates to healthcare facilities, fulfill staffing contracts, and support workforce planning for our facility clients.
Communication: To respond to your inquiries, send job alerts, share assignment updates, and notify you of changes to our policies or terms.
Marketing: To send newsletters, job market briefings, and information about Ambition24hours services. You can opt out at any time (see Section 9).
Security and fraud prevention: To detect unauthorized access, protect our systems, and investigate suspected fraud or misuse.
Legal compliance: To meet obligations under federal, state, and international law, including Joint Commission standards, labor law, tax law, and immigration regulations.
Service improvement: To analyze how our website and platforms are used and improve their performance and usability.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.
5. How We Share Your Data
We share your data only as described below. We do not sell your personal information.
Within the A24 Group: We share data across our US, UK, and South Africa operations to support global recruitment and operational functions.
With healthcare facility clients: We share relevant professional and credential information with facilities where you are being considered for or placed on assignment. We share only what is necessary for that purpose.
With service providers: We engage third parties to perform background checks, drug screening, credential verification, payroll processing, IT support, and marketing services. These providers access your data only to perform their contracted services and are bound by confidentiality agreements.
With Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS): Where required to fulfill a staffing contract, we share relevant candidate and placement data with the MSP or VMS managing the engagement.
To comply with the law: We disclose data when required by a valid legal process, court order, or regulatory authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ambition24hours, our staff, or others.
In a business transaction: If Ambition24hours is acquired, merged, or undergoes a change of control, your data may transfer to the successor entity. We will notify you in advance where required by law.
With your consent: For any other purpose not described here, we ask for your explicit consent before sharing.
6. International Data Transfers
Ambition24hours operates in the United States, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. Your data may be transferred to and processed in any of these countries.
For transfers involving data from the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the relevant regulatory authority to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
For transfers involving data originating in South Africa, we comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
For all cross-border transfers, we conduct transfer risk assessments and implement contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the data involved.

Right to Opt Out of Marketing: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly. We will process your request within 10 business days.
Mobile Communications and SMS Opt-Out: Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All data categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances. If you wish to stop receiving SMS communications from us, text STOP to 833 508 3800 at any time. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. For assistance, text HELP to (833) 508-3800. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your engagement and assignment activity. We may send you SMS/text messages for the following purposes: job alerts and assignment notifications, credentialing and compliance reminders, onboarding updates, and urgent placement communications. You consent to receiving these messages when you provide your mobile number during registration or application. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of placement or employment.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not penalize you for exercising any of these rights.

We will verify your identity before processing any request. We respond within 45 days, with one possible 45-day extension for complex requests. We will notify you if an extension is needed.
10. State-Specific Privacy Rights
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have all the rights listed in Section 9, plus the right to know the specific third parties with whom we share data. Virginia Residents (VCDPA)

Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas Residents

Nevada Residents
We do not exchange Nevada residents' personal information for money.
